A good morning routine can help you be productive for the rest of the day. Many try to get much of their work done by 9 AM while some prefer getting their meetings out of their way early in the day so they can then hit the ground running. Experts suggest some tips to build a good routine:

• Get a good night’s rest and have a consistent time to go to bed every night.
• Avoid any caffeine or alcoholic drink on work nights and see how that affects your productivity the next day.
• Avoid any email or other work communication channels from at least an hour before bedtime.
• Start your mornings by going through your inbox and setting aside 10 minutes for the most important emails.
• Start your day with a task that makes you feel good. After that, you can move on to the more stressful tasks.
• If you’re going to start the next morning by engaging with an important task, prepare for that at the end of your workday. Have a list of the files you’ll need, folders, papers or any physical objects you’ll need.
