As much as I feel tired at times by the constant need to interact at Hive, I do like the idea of decentralized attention, where we have fewer and fewer people with millions of followers and we can make a living by reaching a few hundred people, that’s how I think it should be.

I am still cautious about the idea of shared ownership of my work, but it’s far better than the old publishing model. I’m not sure if it will be better than the total independence of self publishing. Anyway, I am very curious about these new models and will try to learn more about them because so many possibilities are opening up through blockchain, most are still premature but the ones that stick at it may survive and thrive.
