Ahaha. Naturally grown foods are the best. When.insaw those reddish potatoes yesterday, I started imagining what meal I could make of them. I live potatoes to a fault.
Now to make me salivate more, that people pepper will had flavour to a well-garnished potato sauce.
I do not envy your harvest, I .only being spurred to do likewise. A small piece of land in the backyard can give you a bountiful harvest.
For me, I make Garlic Smashed Potato with the Red Bliss.
Cut 6 to 8 potato(with skins ON) into smaller sized, about 4-6 cm (or about 4 to 5 per potato)
Put in pot
add water to cover pieces
BOIL water and potato
until potato is soft. Poke with fork if the potato slides off fork, then it is soft and cooked.
Drain water, leave potato in pot
SMASH with masher.
Add some butter, about 2 or 3 tablespoons
sprinkle some garlic power
sprinkle some coarse ground Sea salt
add small amount of sour cream or yogurt
add small amount of milk (NOT TOO MUCH - add small amount and mash before adding more)
Keep mashing until potato is smooth and creamy.

This is such a great recipe. Where is the fish or meat to go along side? Most times, without a chunk of meat on our meals here (beef, buffon or chicken) are incomplete.
I make the potato as a side dish
Usually it is beef kabob on grille....or perhaps chicken on grille!
Oh! I see. You have a balanced diet meal there.
BTW, I planted these potato in a container... not even inground.
I know some who do them in Big Buckets!
All you need is dirt for the container or bucket!
