I'm the one who is managing the honey store, it require me to open at least 8 A.M and close by 7:30 PM at least.
Don't get me wrong doing honey business gives me a lot of joy, there is this joy in my heart each time a customer walk in and get a bottle of honey from the store. Knowing that I'm meeting up with there needs of getting raw undiluted honey gives me happiness.
Now The But is this
It require my time for the whole day, I get to stay at the store throughout the day, one thing I hate to be doing not be able to leave and go around when ever I wanted dreaded me so much.
Before The Store I have one healthy habit of taking my dinner latest 6:30 P.M this helps me keep in shape and fit.
But now I live in Lagos of all places with it everyday traffics palava, leaving the store 7:30 definitely I could no longer keeps up with my eating habit. I adjusted to the new reality at hand.

I had to make this uncomfortable change because I had a plan to succeed with the business and enjoy my reward later, and been a new business we could not afford to get an assistant then.
The plan was to nurture the store for a while and then get an assistant someone who can always stays around while i can do other stuff i wanted to do .
Then, the great pandemic happened , costs of getting the honey and running the business went up, we had to adjust our prices which has a bit low sales effect on the store for a while before our customers get to adjust to the prices.
The plan of getting store assistant has to be delayed for things to balance up a bit.

Is, I got a sales assistant three weeks ago and I have spent the last two weeks putting her through how the business works. She is very intelligent, smart and hardworking , so yeah!!!!..
I'm getting my old life back!
I did not only plan of getting my old life back, but I intent to get more out of life from now onward, each day that will comes , I plan to live it to the fullest, learn stuff visit friends and families, travels around because if I don't life will just pass me by.

Do you have an online store for your honey business, that might bring in sales and help cover assistant costs. Maybe get the assistant that can do web design too. Imagine a store where u could sell Honey for HIVE too! lol
For now i made use of just WhatsApp and Instagram marketing tools, my store is at a very busy road so 70% of my customers are walk in customers.
This is a really great suggestion from you, I'm into graphics designer myself i think i will only need just a little help to get a website running.
I will keeps this in mind for my honey store future development program.

Yeah honey is comes with a lots of health benefits and better than sugar.
I think the reason why most people are not using honey is because most times and places , undiluted honey is had to come by. So people are been sceptical of not falling into the hands of honey adulterator .
Wow honey is a a very good business to do as honey is very benefitial to the body and the health. You can actually get a partner in order for you to be able to go back to that old routine. Its an awesome work youve gat there.

Hmm.. we always get free honey here, there are so many honey combs on our buildings.
Raw, fresh honey is awesome. The store bought honey here never tastes the same for me.

I love honey a lot and it's always scares in here in the city. Which is why i went into the business.
I took it upon myself to source from the village where is surplus and get it down here.
Wow that is good, it is not easy to stay in one place till morning to night, it will really affect you because of something you want to do you won't have time to do it.
And you will not want your store to run down, everyone pray to succeed in there business, so am happy you get your sale girl.
And at least you will have time for yourself and others thing you want to do, before lagos is a busy place, but now you can eat at the you want.
But you know you know to monitor the girl and know how she managing your store don't just leave her without a well monitor.
And try to engage with other things that can make you have more income, because if you travel with top up your store it will affect it.
Make sure you do the best thing to make the store to maintain it stander and move forward, you know any store you remove money from it to travel.
It will affect it, so make sure you manage it well and monitor the girl, so that you won't have much loss.

I spent the last three years planing for this, i understand your concern of leaving an assistant all by her self.
I have everything all settled out. I have an inventory system and she gives account of sales on a daily and weekly bases.
I get your point i never depends only on the store right from time, i have other online passive income that support the paying off my bills.
And again , i'm spending my time learning other things that i really have passion for but at my own space .
So i will keep on developing at things that makes me more happy and interesting at the same times paying part of my bills.
