Jim Jarmusch is one of my favourite directors ever and Ghost dog is the first film of his I have ever watched.

The film's main star is Forest Whataker. Ghost dog is a paid assassin living by the code of the Samurai.

His master is part of some Italian American mob, his best friend is French and speak no Engligh, the score is made by the mastermind RZA of Wu Tang Clan.

It's only the iconoclast Jarmusch who would be able to put such a range of groups together in a way that really works.

The plot is solid and the film is directed in a super stylised way and is cool from beginning to end.

I'd strongly advise watching this one first and then letting your self explore the rest of the director's filmography.

Last but not least, the great thing about Ghost Dog is that you do not have to "get it" or know more about Jim Jarmusch and his world. You can enjoy this movie even if you are a DOGE HODLer who thinks you are still going to the moon!
