I have said the following since all they way back to steemit- This is not complicated, you want people to come here, then there has to be something for them to see/do here. That doesn't mean crypto talk or armatures blogs about going on vacation...and the circle jerk of whales rewarding themselves for that. It means legitimate professional creatives, and those creatives have to see traction and rewards or they won't stay. It is not complicated.
It is about content. period. The biggest success hive has had is Splinterlands i.e. something to do, done by legit, professional creatives.
If there's nothing to see here, then people will not come here/ stop coming here.
second...and it's been so long since I bothered to check, IF it is still the case that you have to wait a week to get an account on here, you might as well accept that this place will never grow because you cannot onboard fans if they have to wait for a separate email which will come in whenever tf it wants to, before they can have an account.
I do not agree totally to your submission. In my option it takes more to have a bubbly social platform than having influencers and professional. Someone of the top personalities in the social space are amateurs (the likes of ishowspeed, destiny, the tates etc.)
Entertainment and the overall social experience of a social platform plays a key role in the growth and stability of the space.
For hive there are no metrics to judge growth unlike other social platforms where you need a mount of followers, views, and engagement to monetise your content. Also the overall social experiment here is subpar, most people are writing to earn and would pander to the whale to earn their fair share from the reward pool
