This is my first comment/post on Steemit so I'm a newbie as far as all of this is concerned.

Looking at the promo-steem site and checking out the white paper I don't see an explanation of why a separate site from Steemit is needed. Is there a reason you couldn't do this promotion on Steemit itself?

Maybe a "Newbie" video link somewhere that says how your site differs from Steemit, why it's needed and the primary benefits of using your site.

I do see that it targets Steem Ambassadors so maybe you aren't really targeting/addressing the newbie crowd.

The site also says it's targeting Steem whales. Have you already lined up some? If so, a video or testimonial from a few saying they say your site is a good thing and needed might be helpful.

Anyway, those are my thoughts.
