There's no denying fact that cryptocurrencies are gaining much popularity and control in the world of business and many trading systems. The good news to share with steemians today is,this is something that the banks and many other financial institutions have become aware of.This is just to introduce to your notice.Regardless of the many challenges that steem, bitcoin and other cryptos are going in,the patronage and basic usage of steem and other cryptos on the financial and international communities speaks of its importance and relevance in most parts of the world. Most especially in our daily activities and transactions.
Over the past days,I have directed my steem promo activities to reaching many financial institutions here in Ghana with the hopes of getting bankers and other people in business world informed of steem as a great investment.I stared this exercise with a native bank called GT Bank here in Kumasi Ashanti region of Ghana. My utmost thanks to @surfyogi,@ackza,@demotruk,@bleepcoin and most of steemit promoters who showed interest in what I started. I got invited to visit the bank someday with my crew to give an in-depth explanation of how steem and other crypto works.
In my quest to join the GT Bank once again for the presentation,I got the chance this week to have a talk with some few guys that missed my presence the last time I visited the bank.I am still looking forward to seeing the day I will be fixed by the bank for this presentation. I am told their busy schedules have delayed this whole presentation but will surely come to pass.
The Confusion
My very little observation and information I gathered after a good talks with these guys in the financial institutions is what we term "Disruption". Many of these financial institutions do not actually believe in this.Others doesnt even see that these new technologies are here to bring on board disruption to the financial systems. These are the reasons we as steemians must step into the rooms of financial institutions and clear all the misconceptions that revolve steem and crytocurrencies.
It was a great nes last month when a notable politician stood and cautioned the bank of Ghana to channel certain amount of the nation's resources into cryptocurrency. Lots of people yelled to what he proposed but others saw a light in this as well. He has began with a bank he operates here in Ghana accepting bitcoins for transactions and other payments here in Ghana.
This is simply what these financial institutions need to understand. Cryptocurrency is never here to collapse the financial activities and transactions as most of banks always perceive. They only have to make way to accept the operation of these digital currencies into their activities.I cant wait to see the day when all banks will begin to accept payment of steem and other cryptos.

Financial institutions will be good to work with steem and make many profits someday. They only need to understand how the system works and fit into working with it.If these bankers should buy lots of steem and power up,it wont take even longer to get the money back.By so doing, they make good income and accumulate lots of steem power as well. Most of their customers that visit the banks could be signed up and make huge sums of money as well.
I am only waiting to get called and make my presentation ready at GT Bank here in Kumasi.
I surely will move to another financial institution with steem and see howthe turn out goes.Let us try to reach many people with steem and make it well known. This is all we have and this is our money. Lives are continually changed with steem everyday.Making great impacts and making the internet so much fun and exciting.Lets help to make all financial institutions own a steemit account and make lots of investments in here. Thanks for reading.
Thank You,@mcsamm.

I doubt crypto will bring down your banking system any time soon; but it's obvious the banks in USA fear it. I went into Wells Fargo bank, in Phoenix yesterday and they would not allow me to deposit some cash to my friend's account? (I do not have an account at that bank, he does)
So this is a new rule, it's anti money laundering, but it's really about not allowing crypto money to be deposited to their bank in the name of other's.. so the tax man and the bnaks will work hand in hand to fight adoption, is what I see going on in USA.
Keeping in mind most banks work on "fractional reserve banking", then they can create money out of NOTHING and loan it to you for a profit.. and they didn't really pay much for the 10% of that money they loaded you, the 90% of it they created themselves under the banking rules that constantly inflate our fiat and make it worthless..
Unfortunately, the banks will be replaced eventually, because they have a much less fair model. ONly banks that are interested in adoption, will do well.
I think thats seemingly the same fear going on with banks in Africa. Ghanaian banks are greatly afraid of crypto adoption. They think this will pose unfriendly competetion to their activities. But the good news is,some have gradually understood how crypto works and really want to begin full operation. Some even think crypto is a scam. I had to show my steem account details and some withdrawals l have made to prove the reality of steem amd how relevant this would be to them should they join. I feel so much happier with your support @surfyogi. You have truly made me understand we are more than being just Africans. Thanks for making great changes in the life of many Africans with steem and other cryptos. We are appreciative always Jeff#Wafrica.
