Steemit Ibadan: Hangout With Like minded Folks

There is no better way to end a stressful week than to hang out with people of like mind over the weekend. It was a pre meet up to plan and strategise for the first meetup of Ibadan steemit community. I initially thought I will not be attending but my busy weekend schedule somehow created the opportunity for me to attend and I was glad I did attend.

The pre meetup was convened by the steemit ambassador @tojukaka and proudly supported by the “great” @fisteganos. It was an avenue to meet with the real people behind the interesting and educative accounts on steemit and also to meet some of the newbies who have stated out well on steem planet. Steemians in attendance include the ‘steemit ambassador’ @tojukaka @phait @adejoke16 @awolesigideon @sushie @trillex, the ‘love doctor’ @thelovejunkie @fanem @mosunomotunde @abeem90 @akintunde @stacey31 @nwamaka the ‘great’ fisteganos and many more whose name I cannot recall at the time of writing this report.

It was an evening full of fun and excitement as we rub minds together on how to plan for the biggest meetup in Ibadan city. Saturday 24th February, 2018 was proposed and agreed on by everyone present. Various committees was set up to work towards the success of the meet up. With the caliber of people in charge of various activities towards this meet up, I have no doubt the event will be a huge success.

Another area of deliberation was the proposed launch of @stach hub in the city of Ibadan. @ejemai the man with a big heart behind this initiative has successfully launch @stach hub in the city of Port- Harcout and Uyo respectively. Now he has extend his generousity towards steemians in the city of Ibadan. This is a great news that cannot be hidden.
The highlight of the evening for me was the moment @tojukaka spoke briefly about the purpose of STEEM and STEEMIT. I was greatly blessed
