EARTHING & GROUNDING

Do you ever noticed you feel better, sleep better on a beach vacation after walking barefoot in the sand or being in the ocean? It makes you invigorated and recharged. Well there’s actually an explanation behind it that we can reap and benefit. A new scientific discovery called Earthing also known as Grounding has become highly discussed topic and is now a new thing to do among health conscious and nature lovers across the globe.

According to Dr. Mercola, one of the scientist who’s making a study of Earthing for more than a decade said, our immune system functions optimally when our body has an adequate supply of electrons when we have direct contact with the Earth obtained by barefoot, which are supposedly easy, and a natural thing to do in the past. For most of our evolutionary history, humans have had continuous contact with the Earth.

Research indicates that electrons from the Earth have antioxidant effects that can protect your body from inflammation and its many well-documented health consequences.
It is only recently that substances such as asphalt, cement, wood, rugs, and plastics have separated us from this contact because of our uncontended, lavish and sophisticated human lives.
We humans thought we have better understanding of our body and how nature works. For too long we are stubborn and prideful to think that we know better but actually, we really don’t know any better. So here, we find ourselves civilized in a modern world, but disconnected from a primal, powerful source of energy and healing, the Earth.

Going Back to Basics

Science has now proven that the Earth maintains a negative electrical potential on its surface. When we are in direct contact with the ground whether walking, sitting, or laying down on the earth's surface, the earth's electrons are conducted to our body, bringing it to the same electrical potential as the earth. Living in direct contact with the earth grounds our body, bringing favorable physiological and electrophysiological changes that promote maximum health.

Earth is basically a six sextillion metric ton battery that is continually being replenished by solar radiation from the sun, lightning, and heat from its deep-down molten core. The natural rhythmic pulsations of energy flowing through and emanating from the surface of the Earth keep the biological machinery and global life running in rhythm and balance-and that includes us! So we, live like cut flowers put in a vase detached from the nourishing Earth energy.

The beach/ocean is the best place as not only are sand salt water extremely conductive, but salt water is also high in magnesium. Perhaps this is why many people seem to sleep better on vacation at the beach!

The Health Benefits of Grounding

Earthing or grounding, is highly beneficial to your health and completely safe. Earthing appears to minimize the consequences of exposure to potentially disruptive fields like "electromagnetic pollution" or what scientists called "dirty electricity."

The most important health consequences of Earthing or Grounding is providing your body abundant electrons from the Earth. The scientific research and hypotheses related to Earthing point to a major impact on the inflammatory process as a result of this electron transfer.

Nature has solved this problem by providing conductive systems within your body that deliver electrons from your feet to all parts of your body. This has been the natural arrangement throughout most of human history. Negative charges have always been available, thanks to the Earth, to prevent the inflammatory process from damaging healthy tissues.
