Nsukka's first steemit meetup

Nsukka first steemit meet up.

The first steemit meet up in Nsukka held yesterday at University of Nigeria Nsukka. It was a great experience for me, although I was greatly disappoint at the turn up. We were just six in number

I presume the reason for such a low turnup is probably because we didn't do all the publicity we should do. However, I have learnt from this and I know that this is the least I can do in promoting the steemit community

The meet up proper

The meet up held at marlima eatery and the few people that were present were so grateful and amazed at the information in fact some created their steemit accounts yesterday. It was more like a training workshop

Several questions were asked by the people that were present such as:

a. How do I get the physical cash in my Nigerian account?
b. Can I buy SBD for myself?
c. Is there a limit to what I can post?

and many more. Thank God I was able to answer them.

Plans for the Steemit future in Nsukka

There would be subsequent meet up where plans and project plans would be made on what Nsukka can do for the Steemit. Also a WhatsApp group would be created where new steemians would be guided constantly.

With the people on ground, there is a plan for aggressive awareness campaign to let everyone know about steemit in Nsukka @charis is a student of Unn currently and she would sparehead it.

I believe mine is to sow the seeds which I have done
