I am @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school, a place where minnows are groomed and mentored. It's been a hectic day for me, I apologize deeply for the delays in releasing my blog post.
I was at the STeem ACcelerator Hub (STACH 1) to see a steemian mentor @ejemai, and my post today will be as a result of some advice he gave. I so much believe in the principle below;
to be great, you need to walk in the path of the great.
I was discussing with him on how he can provide curation support to a few devout steemians that I would recommend from the offline minnow school. He told me about his efforts to also raise investors in Nigeria and help the Nigerian community be more of a community of givers more than it is a community of takers.
He mentioned, the fact that we are lacking speculative individuals who care about the Steem market cap. I will talk more on this in my next post.
STEEMIT IS VALUE FOR VALUE
"don't expect more value than you put in", he emphasized. Few weeks ago I suggested that the idea of pay should be changed to reward. A friend said he would rather call it a gift. If you're adopting the idea of reward, then you should understand the fact that you don't get to decide how much. And if you'd rather go with the idea of gift, then you have to settle for the fact that you have no rights to earn any rewards.
the golden rule for all those who follow the minnow school is to keep doing it for the love it it. Do it not expecting to make anything at first.
I want you to begin to think in terms of what you can do for the blockchain and not just the other way round.
