The Block’s Outlook Survey: Companies in the S & P500 index will hold their bitcoins until the end of 2021
The majority of respondents to The Block’s Outlook poll believe that companies in the S & P500 index will keep their bitcoins until the end of 2021.
In September, the correlation between the companies in the S&P 500 index and Bitcoin peaked. According to The Block's annual poll, most respondents believe such companies will add bitcoin to their balance sheets by the end of next year.
Of the 106 respondents to the survey, 51.4% believed that between 5 and 9 companies in the S&P 500 index would have bitcoins on their balance sheets by the end of this year
About a third, or 29.7%, believed that one to four companies in the index would buy bitcoins, and only 2.7% believed that one or no company had entered the bitcoin market. At present, none of the companies in the S&P 500 index have included bitcoins in their balance sheets. Square, which could join the S&P 500 next year, bought $ 50 million worth of bitcoins in October.
