RE: What Code Editor Do You Use?

in #programming7 years ago

I used to be a huge fan of Sublime Text before it was obviously abandonware. Been using VS Code a lot more often for programming and SublimeText for quick edits. I use VIM a lot when I'm working via SSH. There are some great plugins for VIM that make it look and feel a lot nicer.

Yeah that's why I didn't include sublime. They don't seem to add new features anymore.

And wow, when I saw that screenshot, I thought it was a full featured IDE. I only know the basics of vim. Guess I should learn more about it :P

Sublime is still updated, but it is so damn slow and so many broken promises I stopped caring. It's still a fantastic editor, and I still use it daily, but I prefer VS Code.
