    Hi,

    I've looked through my Steem Engine and Steem Balances:

    I have considered (and even implemented) advertising (for a day - only paid me ~ 0.3 STEEM (and would have to reach 0.001 BTC before I could have it, so I ditched it)

    I've also considered going the sponsorships route, as some people are offering STEEM for space.

    I'm also thinking about 'removing' the 1000 record limit. (rather running multiple queries and stitching them together) as a premium feature - no normal user should ever need it, but power users/statistics posters may find it to be a useful feature?

    I don't think I'll ever charge for core functionality - there will most likely always be a sufficient free tier, but I don't know what the future holds, and it would certainly be awesome to be able to make a nice income in STEEM.
