  1. Governments phone companies and google would like us to believe that if we have noting to hid we have nothing to fear. That is an extraordinary naive understanding of privacy.

  2. We have different levels of trust for each person we encounter and the amount of personal information we divulge is based on this level of trust. Privacy is built b constant decisions and actions that each of us make thousands of times per day.

  3. Our personal data is being traded used and motioned. Businesses like google are using it to serve us advertisements. Companies are using it to understand our behaviors and personal interests. Governments are using it to watch for threats or to persecute us if we step out of line.

  4. As we enter the new world of big data and the lost of privacy, there exists a power of dictatorship unprecedented in human history, an ability for government to know the intricate details of its citizens and shape their reality according to its machinations.

  5. The human race tends to be as judging as it is loving; if people knew the betrayals, deceptions and bad thoughts of everyone around them it would lead to riots in the streets
