RE: Our Truck Med Kit

in #prepping7 years ago

I'm a huge proponent of having a med kit close at hand. It doesn't have to break the bank either if you purchase a little at a time. Most of us start off with the basic medicine chest stuff. It was nice to see in your kit some of the equipment you may need in a true life or death scenario. I view a good med kit as a life line.

Absolutely! I try to tailor my kits to what is most likely, and keep them small. In a car (or truck in our case) its a different circumstance then in or around your home.. For instance, we have a ton of band aids at home, but only a few in our car, even less in our smallest kit.. If it can wait till you get home, you probably don't need it so we focus on life saving gear (or blow-out kits) for our car, smaller kits and hopefully soon to be micro edc kits.

Our kits have evolved over a very long time, our first truck kit was a zip-lock bag with just a few things in it. Haha
