Hello my friends!
Today I want to share some reasons why you should have Lavender essential oil in your preps, including your bugout bag.
Remember that I am not a doctor or nurse. I am not prescribing this. Just giving its medicinal properties. I am referring to medicinal-grade, 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils.
I do not sign anyone up or sell these oils. I just like to help.
This amazing oil has a multitude of uses:
Anti-Inflammatory- Taken internally or put over a burn or wound , joints or acne (over time) it may relieve inflammatory symptoms.
Anti-Septic- It is fantastic for cleansing wounds. I also take internally for infections. (although I do have stronger options for this) I put a 10 drops in filtered or distilled water and flush wounds or burns.
Anti-Fungal- It can be used on athletes feet, for yeast in the mouth or private areas or even on plants with fungal issues.
Analgesic- This can be used directly on a painful area or taken in a capsule for pain.
Anti-Tumoral- Taken orally or used topically over time, this oil may help fight various kinds of tumors.
Anti-Convulsant- Lavender can be used to help alleviate symptoms of convulsions.
Relaxant- Just breathing in the aroma of Lavender can calm and support rest. In a high-stress emergency, it will be harder to relax and this oil can be of an incredible benefit. I use as sort of a muscle relaxer. I take internally. It can also be used in a bath with about a quarter-half cup of baking soda or epsom salt.
Taken internally it may reduce cholesterol and fat in the blood.
Can reduce excess sebum on the skin and scalp. Sebum can clog pores causing infection.
Think about the above properties. This can be used to help repair the perineum after childbirth as it promotes healing of wounds and is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It can help with insomnia, headaches caused by tension, disinfecting cuts, scrapes and even helps with bruising and sunburns.
There are so many reasons to have Lavender essential oil (Lavandula Angustafolia) in your preps. Do not get Lavandin. It can cause further harm on a burn or wound.
What are you waiting for?
Thanks for stopping by!
Sincerely-Oily
