Valentine’s Day, 14th February, is a day I celebrate every year without failure. Although I have no significant other, it is a day that is very important for me.
It is the day my mother was born, so every year my father brings flowers and cake. It is not just for my mother, but for me and my brother too.
It has always been an event we celebrate, but not with a big party. My mom likes simple, intimate events and that is what I love about Valentine’s Day.
It is not just an event to share with your girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband, but a day to show your love to all your loved ones.

Right on! I like that you put it a intimate day. That is something every person should seek for when it comes to relationship. Only that gives you real, tangible truth. Beyond that, it always creates drama, fake, BS, self-consciousness etc, I think.
