Yet it is a purely Czech "creation" and views from different angles are impressive and often at the edge of a permit. With young children, I would probably not go here, but: it is near Prague, on the way to Karlštejn or Křivoklát opposite direction, without charge and without food. Definitely worth seeing.
Wonderful place that introduces to ponder what the human hand and able to devastate planet earth. Definitely worth a visit. I'm sorry that access to the quarry is barred iron wall that says "you're fucked over," but we can get to the water through tunnels. I do not recommend going here with children, the place is very dangerous and there is a lot of falls. No fee, no parking.
Wonderful landscape to enjoy the look, it is very true what we humans say we have damaged a lot this planet is something sad indeed.
