How I think Steemit Could Improve

in #power8 years ago

Recently, I was introduced to Steemit and I have really been amazed by the idea and the platform. But there are few things that I think Steemit could improve on that could greatly improve the user growth, content, and overall benefit the community.

Giving More Steem Power to the Little Guy

Its almost hurts to see users that create content and they get votes but they literally get $0 in reward. Though I do agree with the current model of having people that have invested into steemit having more power, I would like to see that a new user could give a small reward to a post.

Giving Steemit Power Randomly to Users for a Short Period
I think that this would allow new users to be more active in voting and learn why having Steem power can be useful and helpful to the community. I think this would also allow users to support people that aren’t normally popular in the Steemit community and allow them to get exposure in a new genuine way, and I think it would be exciting!

Allow people to Earn Steem Power through a Steemit Program
My thought is that Steem Power could be given and taken away based on the amount of followers that a user has. This would allow people who create content feel appreciated not only through their earnings but also how they are involved in the community.

Changing the Layout of Posts
Honestly I have never really enjoyed the traditional way posts are layed out, straight up and down. I find it hard to browse through different posts easily, but that is my personal opinion.

Make it Easier to post and edit pictures
This is one feature about steemit that I find frustrating and less convenient to use. I think it would be best if steemit allowed for pictures to be easily pasted into the editor and be easily manipulated for easy use.

Overall, I think the Steemit Program is amazing and I hope to see the community grow in the future! I would love some feedback and I would appreciate if you upvote this post so that some Steemit Developers could see this for future use! Thanks.
