Five-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls, Dennis Rodman traveled to North Korea at the request of the criptomoedaPotCoin.
PotCoin aims to become an official payment mechanism for the legalized marijuana industry. The ambiguous legal status of the industry in places like the US (Marijuana is legal in some states but still illegal at the federal level) makes it difficult for businesses to form banking relationships.
The criptomoeda is a fork of Litecoin which was launched in January Of 2014. Like most digital currencies, it has gone up and down since then. However, it has a thriving user community, and is traded on at least 10exchanges.
Current marketcap is $ 26.8 million.

"Well, I'm sure he's very happy about the fact that I'm here trying to accomplish something we both need,"
Rodman said in Beijing when asked if Trump was aware of the trip.
Known for polemic and good relations with the Asian country of Totalitarian and closed regime, in addition to being a friend of President Donald Trump, Dennis Rodman is also a personal friend of the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
Rodman has been to Pyongyang four times since 2013 and said he hopes to "open a door" to US President Donald Trump.
