My child
Who never shy of smile
And in all his style
They could make me go wild
Yet he is ever gentle and mild
And all the memories with him I must file. ~Jadeline
I always wonder and marvel at how small little human beings call child/children can change my life forever. Through them I learn that life can be imperfect yet perfectly fine, every little things have some element of joy and laughter is the best medicine. I pray you will not lose this pure innocence as you grow up.
I have so much to teach them, to nurture them, yet I have so much to learn from them too. I love to mingle with them because I get to discover life is a magic! Children don't keep grudges. Children don't take revenge. Children just want to love you back. Children just want to make parents happy. In my opinion, they are the reason why the world still move on.
Child & children. Toddlers. Babies.
My sons.
Marvellous creation.
Stay blessed!
A Parents Prayer

Thank you God for
The children of mine
Who teach me things
That blow my mind.
They entertain themselves
In the funniest ways.
I pray that the innocence
They possess never goes away.
I pray they will
Grow up and be smart,
And I pray that they will never grow apart.
I pray that they will call home
Whenever they are near a phone.
I pray that they never feel alone.
I hope they turn to you
Through guidance and prayer
And know that you and their parents
Will always be there.

Aw! Both yours and the poem you shared are such touching thoughts of a mother.
Yes, children are babes and their hearts, though with that cheekiness in them, still posses that pure innocence that can any time melt any parents' heart, including our Father in Heaven.
Probably that is why Jesus said,
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3-4

@iamjadeline It's true that as we grow older, we forget how to live. And children are the gifts to reteach us how to truly live again.
