I took this picture on a market in Inle Lake, Myanmar.
These girls have applied thanaka on their faces. This is part of the culture from Myanmar, but it is also used for sun protection.

Yes, they are sisters. Their mother was nearby selling fruits on the market. I find them really beautiful as well.
