Aloha everyone! Hope all is well and also hope you guys enjoyed these past holidays with their loved ones. We have another great year coming! If your year wasn't as good as you think it could've been, you have a whole new year to change that!
Michael & I recently went to Kauai known as the Garden Island of Hawai'i. Kauai is another beautiful island of Hawai'i and is the oldest island out of all! Such a beautiful place and encourage you to go too! You love nature and country, this is the place for you! If you're more about the city life and nightlife Oahu is your destination! 😊

During our trip, I was able to grasp some photos of surfers catching some waves. Winter time, the waves tend to be bigger and have stronger currents than in the summer time up in North Shore. So of course, you will catch some people catching those massive, amazing, breath taking waves!

Water temperature in Hawaii is still great! I feel like all year the water feels amazing, at least when the sun is out! 😊 Surfers tend to think so too! It amazes me how easy they make it look and how much fun they have surfing. I wish I was just as good as them. πŸ˜‹

Surfers have all my respect. This is one of the most dangerous sports, yet it can be so fun & entertaining. These guys and girls have great balance and are super athletic. In surfing, you use all of your muscles in your body. From paddling, to standing up, to swimming. It may look easy on TV, but once you actually try it out yourself, is when you realize that it is not so easy. 🀣

Even if you go out to see the surfers and they happen to not be there, or not as many as you thought would be out; the waves are also entertaining as well. Watching the waves is so soothing and relaxing. They always helped us clear our mind, and helped our meditating be more peaceful. 😌

Sometimes, people forget how relatable waves are to life. A Hawaiian surfer once told me that you have to treat life like a wave. He said, "When we go out and surf, sometimes we aren't able to catch that wave, but if you wait patiently, your wave will come. For you don't catch that wave again, you gotta keep trying until you catch that wave. Once you catch that wave, you will know the feeling, and that feeling will help you catch more waves." 🌊
