For what it's worth I did actually like your meme and voted for it accordingly, not because of the promise of payment.

I entered this comp early and since I already gave most of my STEEM to fellow Steemians, I can't pay for people to vote for my entry, like some can. I at least like the fact you put "if you like it" but to be honest, this kind of tactic just gives 0 chance to those like me.

I may invite people to vote for my entries but you won't find me paying people or promising voting power to buy votes. I find this counter-productive in trying to curate good content. That should be our number 1 goal with steemit.com

I hope you do not take personal offense to this. Everyone is doing it. It is almost a case of "if you can't beat them... join them". I've just never been that way inclined, and I want a social media platform that aims to provide excellent content. That's what I am here to build.

I strongly recommend reconsidering the strategy of buying upvotes and resteems for anyone who is considering the same strategy.
