The works consist of the change of polycarbonate in the roof of the gymnasium and the repair of the school toilets and the gym.
Through the funding of a project from the Regional Fund for Local Initiative, (Fril) in the year 2018, we are developing the work of school improvement Bernardo O'higgins of the Future. The amount of this project Fril, around 82 Million pesos and is run by the local contractor Juan Carlos Perez, the deadline for completion of these jobs is 40 days. These basically consist in the change of polycarbonate in the roof of the gym, 
the repair of the baths of the same gym and the more powerful of this project is to complete repair of the school toilets, which in general were in a very bad state. Specifically, the change will be in the TOILET, stalls, urinals, sinks, and doors of access to those locations.
These works should be finished by the contractor on the day 4 or 5 of August, a few days before students enter school, to begin the second semester.
About it the mayor of the Future, Marisol Andrade Cardenas, said “we have always been very concerned about the physical state of the infrastructure of the School and the Bernardo O'higgins and we have pointed out that the school that you already have so many years needs many fixes”. He added, “they are only arrangements of momentary to be able to save the situation and to welcome the children and be able to deliver a place in better conditions for the education in future.”
That is why through a project Fril, we already started the work to improve the bathrooms of the establishment and the gym, there will be a replacement of all plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms and also a cleaning of the roof of the gym of the school,” Said the mayor.
He also pointed to the chief's communal, “that is not a perfect solution, but if we know that in this way we will mitigate and make it possible for children to continue in the class.”
A project that comes next is the improvement of the kitchen of the same establishment, which is also a priority for the municipal administration, that there are more than 300 children who were given food, and therefore it is essential that you adhere to all the requirements that are required by the Seremía of Health, to be able to have operational kitchens and dining rooms of the school and the Bernardo O'higgins of the Future.
