Where I am right now, its almost midnight so bear with me if I have some abnormal midnight thoughts. I want to pose an abnormal question to you.

We all love steem & steemit so much that we steem for many hours in a day. Many people (including myself) have frankly fallen madly in love and even addicted. We have showed great signs of deep emotional attachement to this platform.
SO tell me; how will you take it? If...
We all know its a long shot but I like to think of alternative reasoning nodes. What will you do? Who will you call? How will your heart handle it? Are you going to be like; "oh no! Thats not possible" or "I totally experred that!" ?

Every wise individual should always know that putting all ones egg in one basket is very dangerous. I earn from steemit, I work for steemit, I write on steemit, NEVERTHELESS, I still make heavy provisions for offline sustenance...JUST IN CASE ANYTHING HAPPENS.

The appropriate preventative solution would be to not put all ones' eggs in a basket.

With my time, sweat, investment and obviously, high hopes, i would be sad, moody, and totally pained. I would have a lot of "Ifs" in my head, and "whys". It would take some getting used to...facebook would feel the anger hahahahahaha

I believe in life nothing is permanent, if I woke up one day and Steemit website is gone life continue and mind you before Abraham Jesus was. The only people who it will affect are those that had all their eggs stocked in one basket and those who want to hash their eggs before its laid. Thank you for the information @nairadaddy
Hmm! @bendollars releasing wisdom in this comment. Putting all eggs in one basket is pretty risky though. Its good to spread the tentacles. However, steem is a solid investment with so much prospects. It ain't going anywhere, anytime soon!

Really it would be indeed a sad day to me, because with steemit many guys are busy doing something tangible with their time . steemit is a hope for nigerians.

I really don't want to imagine it happening o!!! @nairadaddy. It will be bad news o... What we now happen to all the people that I have told about steemit.
They will now be like "Shebi we told you this is another ponzi scheme".
One thing ill hold on to is the relationships I have made in this laat few months. I am proud to call them family.
I'll love to keep these relationships.

Although I have asked myself this question a million and one times and tried to prepare my mind for the worst while hoping for the best....
But truth is if it happens... I'll break down...
I don't think I can handle this amazing platform going on "maintenance" after the MMM and other ponzi experiences... (If you know what I mean)
I just hate Nigeria completely because I'll blame the government.... No jobs for youths yet they're trying to snatch the means of livelihood from us....
It shouldn't just happen.... God forbid...

Since joining steemit, I had totally left Facebook. So may be I will return back to Facebook though with a heavy heart.

I'll refresh my browser continously, use different browsers. If it doesn't work, I'll call you and sir @ejemai, cos my heart can't handle it. I'll cry everyday until I start getting notifications from my girl @ginabot. I'll keep in touch more with my friends via discord. The thing is steemit has left an indelible footprint in my heart, in as much as Facebook, and other popular social sites is yet to crash, the steem blockchain will equally survive , we have invested so much in it. I'm pretty sure the huge investors won't let it happen.
There are things kept in place for us to survive with, I see the steem blockchain as one.
If it happens, well life goes on.But will definitely miss it.Especially now that I have seen something that is more interesting than Facebook.
I was also having the weird though sometime last week. When it came to my mind I thought of how important it is to have something offline.
Come t think of it again, if you have an offline venture, there are no much price fluctuation. At least you won't have heart attack. Cos all this rise and fall in price can also cause rise and fall in one's blood pressure.
