RE: HOW MY DAUGHTER MADE ME A CONSERVATIVE

in #politics6 years ago

It is a shame you jumped to conservatism. There actually is a thought system that does what you want.

The US Founders lived before the age of ideology. They did not create a named ideology.

The name used by Von Mises and Hayek is "classical liberalism."

This is how I describe it. The US Founders had a liberal arts education based on Christian ethics and classical logic. They applied classical logic to the question of liberty and developed a limited government with a relatively unlimited people.

Conservatism and progressivism were created in a reactionary movement in an effort to restore the monarchy.

This next sentence sounds unbelievable. The Hanoverian Kings of Europe were from Germany. King George, King George II and King George III were from Hanover Germany. They were German.

The Hanoverian Kings funded the German University System. The Hessian soldiers in the Revolutionary War weren't mercenaries. They were fighting for their German King.

After the Revolution, King George III dreamt of creating a counter revolution that would restore the monarchy.

The German Universities developed such an ideology. This counter revolution is known by names like socialism, progressivism and communism.

A guy named Hegel created a thing called modern logic or new think. Modern logic is a system of thought based on ever changing conflicts.

The ideology called Conservatism appeared during the French Revolution.

The French Revolution went as follows:

The colonies were rebelling against England. Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and others traveled to France to build support for the effort.

They hobnobbed with French Nobility and eventually King Louis XVI agreed to help the Americans. King Louis XVI borrowed to aid the US.

The effort of the founders built up support for liberal reform among the nobility in France.

A group called the Jacobins were enamored with the new logic coming out of Germany.

After the US Revolution there was a drought in France. King Louis XVI called a meeting of a thing called the Estates General.

This political body had three estates. The Clergy was the first estate. They supported the king. The nobility was the second estate. They wanted classical liberal reforms. The third estate theoretically represented the people. They were controlled by the Jacobins who wanted radical reform.

The third estate was unruly. King Louis tried to disband the third estate. The Jacobins then met in a tennis court and declared themselves to be the "National Assembly."

The National Assembly found itself in opposition to the clergy and liberals. The liberals tried to mediate. They Jacobins then killed the King. They then launched a "Reign of Terror." In the Reign of Terror they killed the clergy, royalists and the liberals.

In an effort to put down the clergy, they created a new religion and persecuted the Catholics.

Eventually, the members of the National Assembly turned on each other.

The army was controlled by the Jacobins. A Jacobin named Napoleon had conquered the Papal States. They imprisoned the pope, who then died mysteriously. The new pope made an agreement with the new pope that the church would support Napoleon if he restored the church.

The Jacobins and Napoleon created a new legislative body called "The Senat Conservateur" along with a new ideology called "Conservatism."

The conservatives, who used to the Jacobins, distanced themselves from the atrocities they committed by projecting the atrocities on the liberals.

Lets return to England.

King William IV, the youngest son of King George III, was in awe of Napoleon.

In the 1830s, King William IV appointed Sir Robert Peel to rebrand the Tory Party.

The Tories were the people who leveled their muskets at the US Founders during the Revolution.

Anyway, the Tory Party rebranded itself as the Conservative Party.

The new ideology called Conservatism holds the same underlying method of discourse as the progressives.

Don't you see the trap?

Progressivism was created as an ideology to restore the monarchy.

The Jacobins adopted the underlying structure of this new thought system. The Jacobins renamed themselves "Conservative" and orchestrated a revolution that ended with the crowing of Napoleon.

In England the Tory Party adopted this ideology called Conservatism.

For proof of this I beg you to look at the English Parliament.

The Conservative Party from the Tory Party.

The Conservative Party does not support Free Speech. The Conservative Party does not support Gun Rights.

What Conservatives do is created conflict for the goal of consolidating wealth and power.

The GOP was created on the ideals of the US Founders.

The GOP was recognized as the liberal party up until the Civil Rights Movement.

Political operatives in the GOP imported the Conservative ideology in an effort to attract Southerners who felt disenfranchised by Civil Rights into the GOP.

The GOP has since driven the classical liberals from its ranks.

So, if you really want to make a difference, you should skip Conservatism and support the ideals of the US Founders.
