For technocrats, data is everything including what you eat, drink, where you go or when you sleep as these minor bits of information is what they need to create a dystopian scientific dictatorship where the moment you wake up, the government would decide what you eat & drink for breakfast and decide what is good for you/what you like, just like the days in city of Magnitogorsk in the Soviet Union where technological planning was used to replace free market capitalism which did not result in "abundance" which the technocrats claimed will ferment instead widespread hunger and repression was the result. If you want to stand against the Establishment then do the following to protect your data and ensure privacy:
-Instead of using Google as a search engine, use
https://duckduckgo.com/ instead as it is more private and does not save your searches
-Use a VPN whenever you use the internet as it will hide your IP address and prevent hackers from hacking your phone/computer

A browser like Tor coupled with a good paid VPN is probably your best bet. I would suggest having a VPN running before ever downloading Tor Browser in the first place. The more people onboard with Tor the less likely any one person will be singled out for downloading/using it.
Duckduckgo is okay, but using it inside the chrome browser probably still gives google what they're after.
Theres an interesting addon called AdNauseam which blindly clicks on all ads in the background essentially disguising your actual preferences (currently disabled in chrome)
Your computer (microsoft) and mobile device (android) are probably logging everything silently in the background before any attempts to disguise your amazon shopping cart. Aside from abstaining from the conveniences that modern devices provide i think we're stuck clicking "allow" and "agree" to their terms of service.
