yeah, I think Turkey has a big role. In Syria there are over 2mil kurds so they have a main interest in this war. Also, I think the coup d'etat was architected by Erdogan to consolidate his power.

While country was a mess and military was on the road, i am quite sure Erdogan had enough time to destroy any evidence that he had with ISIS ( he bought their oil, thus funding ISIS operation. ISIS main money come from selling oil)
