JFK Files Reveal The CIA Had Plans To Stage Bombings In Miami And Blame Castro

in #politics7 years ago

There has been lots of interesting info coming out of the JFK Files so far.

This document is especially interesting

https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/docid-32112987.pdf

According to this document the CIA wanted to plan some terrorist attacks in Miami and they wanted to blame pro Castro Cubans for the attacks.  Here is a quote from the document;

“We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of a Cuban agent and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.”

Basically they were planning a false flag attack in Miami so the US gov would have an excuse to attack Cuba.  This is some insane stuff...

Great to see an article on politics. Your link makes me question the originality of content on this site in general, though. Interesting conversation to be had on how Steemit is changing the nature of what we consume, and how valuable that may or may not be.

When it comes to news (even political news) there really is nothing original about it, news either happens or it does not happen. Humans determine if something that has happened is worth talking about. In US politics it is mostly reporters who work for news agencies that determine if a story is worth writing about.

So I dont think it is so much about originality, it is just reporting something that happened that you think other people should also know about.

So here I am just stating my brief opinion about this topic, is my opinion on this original... probably not, I am sure there are thousands of other people on earth who have wrote and shared their opinion about this topic who share my thoughts. To me that is all news is, just sharing information that has occurred and expressing your thoughts/opinions about it if you choose to.

That is why most mainstream news agencies all write about the same current events just their opinions on the topics may vary....
