Our Purpose

What if you are not politically inclined. For example I am a game developer. I know a guy who recently lost his job because he at one point in time made a joke about attack helicopters. I like to do live streams and such the clock is ticking before I get ass rammed. I just don't know when.

On a positive note, employers who choose their workforce based on their political opinions and even sense of humor will end up with sub-par workers, get noncompetitive and die off. That's natural selection at work.
And of course, such managers are the primary prey of unscrupulous manipulative sociopaths who know how to play along and so cover up their laziness and incompetence. Witness what is happening with university teaching staff nowadays. Negative selection at its finest. Give sociopath an opportunity (affirmative action) and you can bet your ass it won't be the deserving competent people who get the jobs.
In the long run, your friend is probably much better off away from such an employer.

One of the many reasons why many delete their social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter because employers use these to spy on employees. Your political opinion should not be a reason to be fired or looked over for employment opportunities.

Never apologize, never explain.
