In an ideal world, there would be no need for borders. Any person could go to any place without need of permission, so long as they do not desecrate the ancient traditions of the many different cultures. Alas, this is not an ideal world. And borders are merely lines which mark out territory. The territory does not represent specific cultures, but simply an area by which some governmental force has claimed the right to reign over.
