RE: Dina Powell -- The Snake within the Trump Administration

in #politics8 years ago

Initially, I was quite supportive of Ivanka's alleged role. She came across as quite capable, not entitled, and maybe to take some of the harsh edges off her pop. But almost everything I have read about her lately, and even more so about her hubby, has really raised my ire. Here's to hoping that she gets marginalized, but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and thanks for the link to that article by Roger Stone. I know that there's some interesting stuff being produced over at infowars, but I just can't bring myself to go over there and actually have to listen to Alex Jones. Just can't do that anymore.

You and me both. I found that article in my twitter feed. I love Alex Jones, but in the same way I like spiders.... over there!

Ivanka is a manhattan socialite first and everything else second. Kushner is an Israel-Firster and a neocon.

Trump's speech, in retrospect, had its moments. I'll cover them in tonight's Periscope, but the obvious Russia baiting and inflaming tensions between it and Poland was irresponsible and unnecessary. Again, Trump is a mix of equal parts good and bad, but some things are moving in the right direction.

The ceasefire announcement is all about Israel.
