Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said yes, in an emotional ceremony in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, a place steeped in history for the British monarchy.

Meghan Markle, sober, was dressed in a simple and elegant French couturier Givenchy's dress.

The couple exchanged their wishes, in front of some 600 guests including Queen Elizabeth II and a host of stars.

The couple Clooney, Serena Williams, Beckham, Elton John and her husband, actors of the series "Suits", who launched Meghan Markle in the cinema, and only one former prime minister, John Major, the party was that of an intimate story, not political.

It was William who accompanied his brother to the altar.

Queen Elizabeth II, 92, was all dressed in green, accompanied by her husband, the 96 year old Duke of Edinburgh. There was also the mother of Meghan Markle, the only present member of her family, a disunited family, who was not invited to the wedding. Doria Ragland, a social worker, is descended from slaves on cotton plantations in South Georgia.

The ceremony was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, but it was his counterpart in the United States, the head of the Anglican Church Reverend Curry, the first African-American to hold this position, who delivered the sermon. A nod to the origins of the bride.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as it is now their title, left the chapel of St. George under a bright sun allowing spectators to attend the procession of their carriage.

The bride and groom ends the day with a dinner with the family and 200 friends.
