Puppet Show.

I feel for you, America.
I guess you didn't really have a choice. It was the puppet on the left or the puppet on the right type of situation all over again, much like what we do here in Australia. Donald Trump seems like a businessman more than a politician, and that's because he is. A ruthless business man at that, who might pay out, but at some other cost. I'm glad to be quite isolated from it all, even though Trump will leave his mark here and in many other places. He's already left his impressions, so to speak.
I try not to be judgemental, but when it comes to the current leader of the United States, I can't help but wonder how desperate the times must be over there for such a strange man to be elected. When leaders speak in riddles I get a bad gut feeling, and unfortunately that's all I've seemed to hear from him. He never gets to the point, the plan, he evades good questions, his family look like they could be in the next American Psycho movie, and he rambles on with compliments and slogans to make the crowds feel good about themselves and less critical about him, rather than getting down to evidence on how he's going to actually 'Make America Great Again.' For some reason I had this thought that a huge amount of people who voted for him were either chasing him for his money, as gold-diggers do but on a national level, or they just wanted things to get shaken up a bit so life might be more exciting for them.
As always, time will tell where this goes.
