Ahhh, you've got an agreeable follower here. Ok the pic of the kids on the apples is too cute. When I see my 8yo playing legos and losing himself in his imagination I think, wow. If he had been in public school this whole time I'm sure that would be bullied out of him. It is so sad... and that is just one detriment of public school...
A friend's son literally stopped eating his favorite foods - yogurt and hummus- because he was made fun of for eating those foods at school lunch.
If this is not an example of a major problem that just goes ignored, than I don't know what is!
And yeah, raw milk to the moon!!
That's horrible that your friend's son was affected enough to stop eating his favorite foods. That is exactly the type of thing I am talking about. So many young people are negatively affected by the other children's anti-social behavior but it i the homeschoolers that need socialization? That's rich.
I am glad you are able to home school your son.
