Just 6 days before the election contest that in the judgment of many citizens is one farse, Venezuela is in a moment of uncertainty as never before seen and felt in the country.
Today in Venezuela we have seen a phenomenon that the same news channel RT have called a "war of polls", so that's what it's called since certain studies show that President Nicolas Maduro will win again, others say that candidate Henri Falcon will win, while other lesser opinions of some analysts indicate that the other candidate Javier Bertucci could give a very unexpected surprise in these elections since he has achieved a lot of popularity with his campaign in these months. Even apart from these three possibilities that these surveys show, there is a fourth one and it represents many sectors and citizens of the country: abstention.
While the three candidates are measured in elections, there is a large part of the Venezuelan population going through hunger and hardship, people eating from garbage and likewise people asking and stealing in many sectors of the country.
The Venezuelan diaspora increases every day in a very fast way since the population does not see any fix or hope to get out of their situation.
We are in a country where hyperinflation is so high that companies such McDonalds are forced to increase 150% in two weeks due to the increase in the price of food.
The destiny of the country will be decided in these six days that will come, because even if the abstention wins these elections (fraudulent or not) will mark before and after in the Venezuelan society, politics and economy.
There are many questions in the air ...
Will a dictatorship be consolidated officially?
Can another candidate win?
Foreign intervention?
All those questions will be answered alone in the next few days, while we will see the darkness of the abyss or a light at the end of the tunnel ...
Thank you for reading.
