You’re not entitled to the earnings of others regardless of how high someone’s earnings may be. Don’t like Beyoncé making thousands of dollars a minute? Don’t support her music. Don’t like people making ridiculous amounts of money? Don’t give your money to people who make ridiculous amounts of money. People will complain about McDonald’s CEO making millions per year and the average employee making minimum wage but that same person purchases Big Macs weekly. If everyone who griped about the poor being poor actually donated directly to the poor, there wouldn’t be any poor people. If the idea of someone making millions of dollars appalls you, then stop buying that iced caramel macchiato from star bucks and get the alternative at your local coffee shop. I personally buy from both big name companies as well as local businesses, but I also don’t complain about the amount of money another makes. Almost all forms of entertainment are uber expensive. From your favorite band or artist to watching your favorite athlete, most likely those tickets are going to cost a pretty penny. Every ticket you purchase only funds the millions of dollars in salary that entertainers make. Instead of giving Beyoncé 200 of your hard earned money, which you are absolutely free to do, consider the alternative and give the 200 to someone who absolutely needs the money. I am no where near perfect but I also don’t envy those who make more than I. If we all were more compassionate this world could become a much better, peaceful place.
