So my door-knocking job which began in April of this year, was all around District 58. I have knocked in almost every precinct shown on the map. It's so great to see most of it go for Ron.
With the election results in, I was delighted to see that the man whom I was campaigning for had won decisively!
Normally I wouldn't follow an election that I was not eligible to vote in, but having devoted hundreds of hours and thousands of door-knocks, this victory is very sweet.
I can't say for certain my effort caused this win, but it's difficult to say it had no impact at all.
The incumbent Democrat Nate Shannon was running for his fourth term, claiming to be a moderate who was willing to "cross the isle", but his voting record was lock-step with the majority Democrats, much to the disappointment of many of his voters.
Robinson said he disagreed with "the fact (Shannon) took away 90 percent of spending for safety and mental health and schools to pay for pet projects." When asked, Robinson said about himself: "I am a person who has high morals and I practice what I preach."
Turning the country around isn't from the TOP down, it's from the BOTTOM up. Cleaning Michigan's house with upright citizens who best represent the people is what changes the character of government. It is working towards restoring trust again after such betrayals, trust between the people and the government that rules over them.
Is everything perfect now? Not by any means, but it's a step in the right direction.

By the way, note that it is a "price chart" for the last year. Not a chart showing how XEN has been reducing its power consumption.
