I've never been super keen on Sessions from the beginning- not because of all of the rumors and left saying he was racist, etc- but because I just couldn't see him handling the position well enough.
I was actually pulling for Gulliani because I saw him as a fierce disciplinarian and he does have a great background in cyber security.
Sessions is tough and will do his job well. But, he is also justified to recuse himself from an investigation he has ties with because of being appointed by Trump. He's not doing the Democrat thing of blocking the investigation and Trump should approve of this, not scold him. It is up to Trump and the GOP to get this nothing burger out of the way so real work can be done.
I'm sure Gulliani would be hounded from day one as well.
I will admit i was upset when he recused himself from the Russia investigations and i never understood why he didn't start investigating the DNC, leaks, Hillary, etc right away. Maybe that's why I'm standoffish about his future.
He can't start on that out of the gate, but new evidence about Comey and Lynch just surfaced. Also Debbie Wassermanshultz IT guy thing. It could all lead to the bigger indictment.
