I hear you, Govenment is the real evil, what do they do really, just sit there, make laws, control the people, make war. In reality, they are not really making anything, not producing anything. They just like to steal from people's product of hardwork.
I'm scared of the gov, i hope they won't control cryptocurrencies too, but as i see it now, they are seeing another thing to deprive us of, - freedom.
They'll try to regulate, but when the dominoes start falling, and new nations start appearing everywhere after the next financial catastrophe, it will be an impossible task. Corporations, nations and individuals will start creating their own cryptos (some even backed by gold/silver)...exciting times for individuals, frustrating for the gov's of the world:)
