deferred actions and executive orders are legal actions by the presidents and they only become illegal if federal judges or civil groups make a claim and take it to court, and only after it has been challenged and deemed illegal do they become illegal. That is the essence of law.

Or the next President decides to rip up the Executive Order of the previous, which makes it null and void.

If you really want long term confidence for the Dreamers, you should be exceptionally happy that Trump ripped up the piece of paper Obama wrote and Trump challenged Congress to write a bill with a permanent solution.

It should make you happy that a permanent solution is coming, as opposed to have to live indefinitely with the paper Obama wrote that was subject to change at any time by any future President.

I highly doubt Trump will do anything positive for illegal immigrants or immigrants as a whole given his latest moves and his constant rhetoric and antagonization of foreign nations.

It's only fair. When that American got caned in Singapore he deserved it. He broke their laws. I didn't bitch it was unfair... if i break a law i expect to be punished if caught... and I accept the consequences... if someone else breaks the law and there are no consequences for them how is that fair to me? The law is the law. If you don't like it there are steps you can take to change it
