US President Joe Biden and the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a meeting today via video link, and the focus of the talks was on resolving the crisis in Eastern Europe.
Biden expressed his support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and called for de-escalation and return to diplomatic activities.
During the talks, Putin said that responsibility should not be shifted to Russia's side, given that NATO is taking dangerous actions in order to conquer Ukrainian territory and build its military potential on Russia's borders.
In the coming period, we will certainly see a lot of diplomatic activities related to Ukraine, and the question is whether diplomacy will be able to prevent new conflicts that could create instability in Eastern Europe.
