Japan confirms more than 7 o'clock this morning on Sept. 15, with North Korea firing missiles over northern Japan's airspace.
"North Korea launched an unidentified missile from the area near Sunan, Pyongyang, east of this morning at 6:57 pm," Yonhap, who led information from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said.
According to Japan's J-Alert system, Korean missiles fly over Hokkaido, north of Japan, "at 7h06 (22h06 GMT on September 14), heading for the Pacific." The missile fell to an area 2,000 km east of Hokkaido. J-Alert is a Japanese emergency system set up in 2007. J-Alert uses satellites to broadcast alerts via television, radios and smartphones, helping to speed up evacuation or respond to emergencies. there is danger
The South Korean Ministry of Defense says the Korean missile flew about 3,700 kilometers and reached a maximum altitude of 770 kilometers, higher and farther than previous attempts. Based on the orbits and the highest point, North Korea seems to have just launched a medium-range ballistic missile with a normal firing angle. However, the agency does not exclude the possibility of upgraded ballistic missiles or new ballistic missiles.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in has convened an emergency meeting with the National Security Council (NSC), a process that took place after North Korea tested nuclear or missile. He says rocket launches have only furthered North Korea's isolation and warned of new threats, such as bio-chemical attacks, from Pyongyang.
The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the North, calling the launch a serious threat to international peace and security. South Korea has been prepared to cope with all threats from North Korea and will strengthen Pyongyang's capacity to respond to the provocations.
White House chief John Kelly has informed US President Donald Trump about the launch, said White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called for "new measures" aimed at North Korea. He warned of similar actions "only made Korea more economically and diplomatically isolated".
"Russia and China must show unforgiveness by taking direct action," Tillerson said.
The US military announced that North Korean missiles flew over northern Japan and then plunged into the Pacific, posing no threat to Guam or North America. This is a mid-range ballistic missile. However, US Defense Secretary James Mattis described "millions of Japanese people have to hide" before the Korean missile fell into the sea.
Meanwhile, Japan strongly condemned the North's launch.
"Japan never forgives repetitive repetition of North Korea," AFP quoted a government spokesman as saying. "We strongly oppose the DPRK, telling them strong anger from the Japanese people, condemning them with the strongest possible words."
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe calls for UN sanctions on UN-sanctions. The international community must send a clear message for provocative actions from the North.
The UN Security Council will meet at 15am (19pm GMT) today.
This is the second time the North has fired missiles over Japanese territory in less than a month, the last time it took place on August 29.
The launch comes after the UN Security Council (UN Security Council) passed a resolution urging North Korea to crack down on its sixth nuclear test earlier this month. Sanctions include banning North Korea from exporting textiles and clothing, limiting imports of petroleum products, and banning Korean employers.
The North calls this a "vicious and illegal offensive resolution", stating that it will "double its efforts to develop its power to protect sovereignty and the right to survival." North Korea on Sept. 14 also threatened to use nuclear weapons to sink Japan for "supporting the United States," in support of the resolution to punish the North.
