Supereffective Week is the next event coming to Pokemon Go so I thought I'd write up a quick guide to help you optimse your stardust gains and know what to expect!
The event will run from:
Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 1 p.m. PST to Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
With the following bonuses:
2× Stardust from Trainer Battles
More Potions and Revives from PokéStops
Guaranteed Charged TM from three-star raids
Full event information can be found here: https://pokemongolive.com/en/post/nov2019-events/
So 2x Stardust from trainer battles sounds great but how much can we actually expect to get?
Well the event runs for a total of 8 days and each day you can receive reward bundles from 3 trainer (PvP) battles.
Whether you win or lose you will be rewarded with either 500 Stardust, a Sinnoh Stone, Rare Candy or a Charge or Fast TM. Drop rates can be seen in the table below.

So each day during the event we have a chance to get a total 3000 stardust, which over the course of the event adds up to 24,000! (36,000 if you were to use a star piece everyday). Not bad at all.
Now, it’s unlikely that EVERY reward you get will be stardust however the majority of them likely will be and it’s some easy stardust for a very small time investment.
If you have another device doing your 3 battles will be super easy, otherwise meet up with some friends or battle an ultra friend remotely. It’ll be good practice for the upcoming release of GO Battle League as well.
So make sure not to sleep on this easy stardust, train hard during Supereffective Week and I hope you enjoyed reading my first Pokemon GO post on steemit!
