Anger

Anger, a volcano erupting.
Unpleasant, painful,
not worth the time.

Anger can destroy lives.
Let it not consume the mind.
Let anger die.

Anger make us susceptible.
It weakens the will.
Blurring resolves.

Anger will do us no good.
Nothing but troubles.
Nothing but sorrows.

Live peacefully.
Let anger go, but,
let passion consume you.

Conquer anger,
let it not conquer you.
Allow the willpower to grow.

Ease the raging waves.
The waves of anger
drowning the heart.

See the world with no anger.
Be calm like the wind.
Bask in the ray of calm.

Anger is a very powerful, yet destructive emotion. Left unchecked and it can consume us. Therefore, it is important to reign and control anger. Only by doing so can we live at ease and in peace.

This is it for now. I hope you find the poem inspirational. Till next time.

Wonderful poem
Anger leads to destruction

I agree that anger can be a destructive emotion, but it is also one of the six basic emotions. It's natural to have. It is a great survival tool to help us protect ourselves in the heat of the moment. I also agree that we need to tame it and control it, like a surfer does with the waves, but we must keep the waves there - we cannot pretend that they do not exist and hide them, or else they will come back stronger on the other side.

good poem. true

Anger..... Causes us to make decisions that we most of the time up end regretting leaving us nothing for sorrows indeed.... Nice poem. @vegaron
