As she felt the silt white sand under her feet,
Her excitement raised her heartbeat,
Her long white dress soaked by the turquoise sea water,
The achingly blazing sun above her didn't even bother.
The unruffled sea breeze groomed her hair,
The calm humming of the waves' song as she blankly stared,
Her beauty like the bold distant horizon,
Distinctly endless yet not an illusion.
The inviting rising tide drew her to swim,
Unhesitatingly she took a dip on a whim,
She felt madly in love with the exquisiteness of the sea,
The only place where she forever wants to be.
The sea has a lot to offer. It is characterized by calm, peacefulness, and a sense of general happiness and satisfaction with life in the moment.
This poem tells a story on how a person can immeasurably fell in love with the beauty of the sea.
This poem is my entry for @terrycraft's poetry contest. It is a privilege to take part in this contest, and share my piece.
