Why does music touch the soul?
Why when we listen do we feel so full?
How is it able to make us feel?
When the sound is unseen but feels so real?
Listening to the sounds of silence
Is deadly, fatal and violent
Music combats our heart ache
And reverberates with in our skull plates
Music is the cure to all emotional fatigue
Music is infectious like a disease
It spreads across the earth
Recreates minds and gives them a rebirth
Music is life
It gives us a break from current strife
It inspires nations
It brings messages of sanity and salvation
Never forget where there's music there is love
It will be made forever as the peaceful white dove

Ethan, I feel that music is the Universal language that connects us all. It can convey happiness/sadness, lightness/darkness, deepness/inaneness, and joyfulness/anger. It enters our senses and channels its way down to our inner soul and gives us a way to release all energy that is pent up inside, so that eventually we are able to breath again. It connects us to what we are feeling. Your beautiful poem, "Why does music touch the soul?", was truly impactful and touching. I do feel that without music, we cannot find or go with the flow of our feelings and nature. Yesterday, when you did a kindness for me, it was like music to my heart! Music is universal and lovely.
So absolutely on point! Every person on this planet has a soundtrack for their life. Songs that take them back. Songs that move them forward. Songs to stir their emotions or creativity. Music is the single biggest nourishment for our souls that this world has to offer. It is truly the greatest of all treasures.
And there is an abundance of it all over :) music can be created by anyone, be it a voice, a whistle or even just the clapping of hands...
